What Are Dentures?
As a removable oral appliance, dentures are prosthetic teeth with a plastic or acrylic base custom made for your mouth. They work to improve your quality of life by returning your face volume for a more pleasant appearance and restoring the functionality of your smile so you can eat and speak with confidence.

There are two main types available:

• Complete Denture — Completes are used to replace all the missing teeth in the arch of your mouth and may be used to replace one or both arches, depending on your needs.
• Partial Denture — Partials replace the gaps from missing teeth and are used if some of the natural teeth remain in the mouth. A partial denture will include clasps or a thin framework to attach to the natural teeth to ensure a more stable fit for the denture.

Your dentures may also be supported and anchored in place by implants to give you a more secure fit and longer-lasting result.
